You will be conducting research into a topic of interest to you. Then you will turn your research in to a short documentary. The goal of the project is capture the power of image combined with voice to tell a singular story.
Things to consider:
- What is the significance of the topic?
- Can the story be visually told?
- Who, other than you, is the topic important to?
- What is the overriding issue concerning the topic?
- How much information is available on your topic?
- In a Google Search, how many “reliable” sites are returned are their enough images to be found.
- How much information on the topic is available in the school library?
Research:
Think about what you want to know about your topic
- Who, what, where, why and how.
- What images will you use?
- What sounds or music will you use?
